Waitlist privacy notice
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Who we are
Dscrte is a product of Leom Technologies. Leom Technologies is the data controller responsible for how your waitlist information is collected and used.
For any questions or requests, including privacy requests, contact hello@dscrte.com.
What we collect
When you join the Dscrte waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address, so we can contact you.
- Your role — event organiser, exhibitor, or attendee; so we understand the capacity in which you are interested in Dscrte and can make beta and launch notifications relevant to you.
Joining the waitlist is voluntary. Without your email address, we cannot send you the notifications you request.
This notice covers the waitlist. Any future Dscrte beta or product account will have its own privacy information explaining any additional data collection.
We also record when you gave consent and the wording you agreed to. To protect the form from spam, we temporarily store a keyed hash of your client address and records of used spam checks; we do not store your raw IP address in these records. These anti-spam records expire after 15 minutes and are removed during subsequent requests. Email delivery jobs are stored until sent and removed within 48 hours by our scheduled email worker.
How we use your information
We use your email address and role to manage the waitlist, send signup and unsubscribe confirmations, and notify you when a Dscrte beta test is available or when Dscrte launches. Your role helps us identify which beta opportunities and launch information are relevant to you.
We do not use your waitlist information to train AI or machine-learning models.
Your consent and choices
We rely on your consent to collect and use your email address and role for these purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@dscrte.com. Each notification will also explain how to unsubscribe. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell or rent your waitlist information, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Our waitlist database uses Supabase software hosted on our own infrastructure. We do not use Supabase's managed cloud service to store waitlist information.
We use Resend to deliver beta and launch notifications. Resend processes your email address, message content, and delivery information on our behalf to provide email delivery, subject to its data processing terms. See Resend’s data processing information.
We may disclose information where required by law.
Where your information is stored
Our server and self-hosted Supabase waitlist database are hosted on our infrastructure in London, United Kingdom.
Email delivery through Resend involves processing and storage in the United States. Resend describes the international transfer safeguards applicable to its service, including contractual safeguards and the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, in its data processing information. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
How long we keep it
We retain your email address and role until Dscrte launches and the launch notification has been sent, then delete them from our waitlist. If we cancel the product before launch, we delete the waitlist when it is no longer needed.
You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@dscrte.com. We delete your email address and role from our waitlist within 48 hours of receiving your request. If you withdraw consent, we stop sending notifications and remove your waitlist record within the same period.
Resend’s email delivery records are subject to its own retention schedule. Resend currently states that email and log data are retained for 30 days on its standard plans. The 48-hour commitment above applies to our waitlist records. See Resend’s security and retention information.
Your rights
Subject to applicable data protection law, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. You can withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details above to make a request.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if our practices change. We will not use your waitlist information for additional purposes without first informing you and obtaining any consent required by law.
